Sam woke up and saw white everywhere. It snowed last night!
Sam put on his warm coat, hat, and mittens. He ran outside.
First, Sam made a big snowball. Then a bigger one on top.
He put a carrot for a nose and rocks for eyes. It was a snowman!
Sam's friend Lily came over. Can I help? she asked.
Yes! said Sam. Let's make snow angels! They fell back into the snow.
They laughed and played all morning. Then Mom called them inside.
They drank hot cocoa by the fire. What a wonderful snow day!
