Anna planted a tiny seed in a pot. She put it by the window.
She watered it every day. Come on, little seed, she said.
Nothing happened for a long time. Anna was sad. Is it broken?
Then one morning she saw a small green leaf poking out of the dirt!
The leaf grew bigger each day. Soon there were two leaves, then three.
A bud appeared at the top. It was round and green and tight.
One sunny morning, the bud opened. It was a beautiful yellow flower!
Anna smiled. Good things take time, she said to her little plant.
