It was raining outside. Ben looked out the window and felt sad.
I wanted to play outside, Ben said to his mom.
We can have fun inside! said Mom. Let's make something.
Ben and Mom got out paper, paint, and glue. They made a big picture.
Ben painted a rainbow. Mom painted a happy sun.
Then they made cookies. Ben mixed the dough. Mom put them in the oven.
The rain stopped. Ben looked out the window and saw a real rainbow!
This was the best rainy day ever, said Ben with a big smile.
