A Walk in the Woods

We went for a walk in the woods. The trail was soft and brown.

I saw a tall tree. It was so big I could not hug it!

I heard a woodpecker tapping. Tap, tap, tap on the bark.

I found a feather on the ground. It was blue and white.

A squirrel ran up a tree. It had a big fluffy tail.

I spotted a spider web. It glittered with tiny drops of dew.

We sat by a stream and ate our snack. The water hummed softly.

I love the woods. I want to come back again very soon!
