Too Many Cooks

Three brothers — Jin, Cal, and Pete — all wanted to make breakfast at the same time.

I will make eggs! said Jin. I will make toast! said Cal. I will make juice! said Pete.

But the kitchen was very small. Everyone bumped into everyone else.

Jin spilled the eggs. Cal burned the toast. Pete knocked over the juice.

The kitchen was a mess. All three boys stood looking at it.

Then they started laughing. This is a disaster! said Cal.

Let's do one thing at a time, said Jin. We will take turns.

This time it worked. They made a great breakfast and cleaned the kitchen together.
