By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Parents may optionally sign in with Google or Apple to access enhanced features (primarily cross-device syncing). When you sign in, we receive from the sign-in provider:

Important: Sign-in is entirely optional. The App works fully without any account. Only parents or guardians (age 18+) should sign in. Your email address is never sent to AI services, marketing platforms, or data brokers.

When you create content through the App, the following is stored in our secure database (Firestore) and cloud storage (Google Cloud Storage):

• User prompts and creative inputs provided during story creation

• Drawing, coloring, and artwork created within the App
• AI-enhanced artwork and illustrations

• Stickers, stars, coins, and achievement data

3.5 Support Ticket Information

When you submit a support request through the App's support feature, you may provide:

• Your name (entered by you)
• Your email address (entered by you)

This information is stored on our servers and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

When you share content through the App's sharing features, we record:

• The platform to which it was shared (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Web Share)

We do not directly collect or store payment information (credit card numbers, bank details). All payment processing is handled by:

• RevenueCat — for subscription management (receives anonymous user IDs only, not payment details)

We receive subscription status information (active, expired, cancelled) but never your raw payment data.

When you use AI-powered features, the following data may be included in prompts sent to Google Gemini API:

• It is your responsibility as a parent or guardian to review all AI-generated content

6. Data Shared When You Use Sharing Features

When you share content through GoReadling's sharing features, certain data leaves Big Data LLC's control. This section details exactly what is shared.

6.1 Data Shared via Facebook

When you share a story to Facebook:

• A URL to the story is shared (which may be accessible to anyone with the link)
• The story title is included (which may contain your child's name, e.g., "Hanna's Magical Adventure")
• A text snippet from the first page of the story (which may contain your child's name)
• Sharing is processed by Facebook/Meta under their Privacy Policy

6.2 Data Shared via Instagram

When you share to Instagram:

• Story title and text excerpt are copied to your clipboard (may contain child's name)
• You manually paste this content into Instagram
• Instagram processes the data under their Privacy Policy

6.3 Data Shared via WhatsApp

When you share via WhatsApp:

• Story title, text excerpt, and a URL are included in the message (may contain child's name)
• WhatsApp processes the message under their Privacy Policy

6.4 Data Shared via Web Share / Native Share

When you share using the device's native sharing (Web Share API / iOS Share Sheet):

• Story title, text, and URL are shared to the application you select
• Data is processed by the receiving application under its own privacy policy
• We have no visibility into or control over the receiving application

6.5 Data Shared via Art Sharing

When you share artwork or illustrations:

• The art is exported as a PNG image file and shared through the device's share capabilities
• Once the image leaves the App, it is under the control of the recipient and/or receiving platform
• Art images do not typically contain embedded metadata with personal information, but the image content itself may reveal personal details

7. Story Duplication & Content Accessibility

7.1 How Duplication Works

GoReadling may allow users to duplicate (copy) stories created by other users to their personal library. When duplication occurs:

• A complete copy of the story data (text, illustrations, audio references) is created and stored in the duplicating user's account
• Personal information embedded in the story (such as the original creator's child's name) is also duplicated
• The original creator is not notified when their story is duplicated
• The duplicate is independent — deleting the original does not delete copies

If your story contains your child's name or other personal details, those details will be present in all duplicated copies. You cannot revoke or recall a story once it has been duplicated by another user. Consider this carefully before making content available for duplication.

8. Ratings, Reviews & Community Data

8.1 What Rating Data We Collect

When you rate a story:

• Your rating value (1–5 stars) is stored
• Your user ID (device ID or account ID) is associated with the rating to prevent duplicate ratings
• A timestamp of when the rating was submitted

8.2 How Ratings Are Displayed

Ratings are displayed in aggregated form only (average rating, total number of ratings). Individual user identities are not revealed to other users through the rating system. Ratings are anonymous from the perspective of other users.

9. Activity Tracking & Analytics Data

GoReadling collects usage activity data to operate and improve the Service. This includes:

Activity data is sent to our backend servers and stored in our database. It is used for:

• Enforcing usage rate limits (preventing excessive story generation requests)

Activity data is not shared with third-party advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.

11. Data Sharing with Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share data only with the following categories of third parties, as necessary to operate the Service:

When you voluntarily share content via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, or other platforms, data is transmitted to those platforms as described in Section 6. This sharing is initiated by you and governed by the receiving platform's privacy policy.

Other GoReadling users may access the following data through normal Service use:

• Aggregated story ratings (anonymous)
• Stories that are available in shared/public story libraries
• Content you share via links or social platforms
• Stories duplicated from your library (including embedded personal details)

11.4 Legal & Safety Disclosures

We may disclose your data if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to:

• Comply with a legal obligation, court order, subpoena, or government request
• Protect the rights, property, or safety of Big Data LLC, our users, or the public
• Enforce our Terms of Use or investigate potential violations
• Detect, prevent, or address fraud, security issues, or technical problems
• Protect against legal liability

In the event of a merger, acquisition, corporate restructuring, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will provide notice of any such transfer and the new entity's privacy practices.

12. Children's Privacy & COPPA Compliance

GoReadling is designed for children and families. We take children's privacy extremely seriously and comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and equivalent international regulations.

12.1 Our COPPA Practices

• No direct collection from children: We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Children do not create accounts, provide email addresses, or submit personal data. All personal information (child's name, age) is provided by the parent/guardian and is used solely for content personalization
• Parent-only accounts: Only parents/guardians (age 18+) may sign in with Google or Apple
• Local profiles: Child profile names and ages are primarily stored locally on the device. When used for story generation, they are sent to AI services with parental consent (which is granted by the parent's acceptance of these Terms and use of the App)
• Anonymous when possible: The App works fully without sign-in, using only an anonymous device ID
• Private stories: Custom stories are stored privately and associated with an anonymous device ID or parent's account, not directly with a child's identity
• Parental controls: Parental gates (math-based verification) protect AI features and settings. Parents can delete all data at any time
• No targeted advertising: We do not show ads to children or use children's data for advertising purposes
• No social features directed at children: Sharing features are designed for parent use — children do not independently share content or interact with other users

12.2 Parental Consent

By using GoReadling and providing your child's name and age for story personalization, you — as the parent or legal guardian — consent to the processing of this data as described in this Privacy Policy. You may withdraw this consent at any time by:

• Removing the child's profile from the App
• Contacting us to request deletion of all data associated with your device or account
• Ceasing to use the Service

12.3 Inadvertent Collection

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it as quickly as possible. If you believe this has occurred, please contact us immediately at bgdatamlai@gmail.com.

13. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

14. Data Retention & Deletion

• It may take up to 90 additional days to remove data from backups and disaster recovery systems
• Content that has been shared with others (via social media, duplication, or web links) cannot be retrieved or deleted from their possession
• Content cached by third-party services (search engines, social platforms) is beyond our control
• Data may be retained where required by law, for dispute resolution, or to enforce these Terms

GoReadling is operated from the United States. Your data — including personal information, stories, and activity data — may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in:

• Other countries where Google Cloud infrastructure operates (for database, storage, and AI processing)
• Other countries where our service providers operate

By using GoReadling, you expressly consent to such international data transfers. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place consistent with applicable data protection laws, including standard contractual clauses where required.

Big Data LLC does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes. No opt-out is necessary because we do not engage in these practices.

20. Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information:

• We will notify affected users without unreasonable delay and within timeframes required by applicable law (e.g., 72 hours under GDPR for supervisory authority notification)
• Notification will include a description of the breach, the data affected, steps we are taking, and recommendations for you
• We will notify relevant data protection authorities as required by law
• We will take reasonable steps to mitigate the effects of the breach

21. Limitation of Liability for Data

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Big Data LLC shall not be liable for:

• Any unauthorized access, data breach, data loss, or data corruption that occurs despite our reasonable security measures
• The privacy practices of third-party services including Google, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Apple, or RevenueCat
• Data disclosed through your voluntary use of sharing features
• Personal information (e.g., child's name) that becomes visible to others through stories you shared or made accessible
• Data duplicated by other users through the story duplication feature
• Data cached, indexed, or archived by third-party services outside our control
• Google's processing of prompts and data under Google's own terms and policies

You use the Service and provide data at your own risk. See our Terms of Use for comprehensive liability limitations.

22. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Service, or applicable law. When we make changes:

• The "Last Updated" date at the top will be revised
• For material changes (e.g., new categories of data collection, new third-party sharing), we will provide prominent notice through the App or by other reasonable means
• Your continued use of GoReadling after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy
