1. Who We Are

GoReadling ("the App", "the Service", "our Service") is owned and operated by Big Data LLC ("we", "us", "our", "the Company"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. By accessing, downloading, installing, browsing, or using GoReadling in any way — whether on an iPhone, iPad, Android device, web browser, or any other platform, now or in the future — you ("you", "your", "the user", "parent", "guardian") agree to be fully bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Big Data LLC. If you do not agree to every provision of these Terms, you must immediately cease all use of the Service and delete the App from all devices.

These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy and any supplemental terms referenced herein) make up the entire agreement between you and Big Data LLC regarding your use of GoReadling. They supersede all prior agreements, understandings, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the Service.

2. Acceptance of Terms & Parental Acknowledgment

By using GoReadling, you represent and warrant that:

If you are accepting these Terms on behalf of a family, household, or organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind all users of the Service under your account or device.

⚠️ Important: AI-Generated Content Acknowledgment

GoReadling uses artificial intelligence to create personalized stories, illustrations, audio narration, and art enhancements. While we employ content filters, safety guardrails, and moderation systems, no AI system is perfect. AI models may occasionally produce content that is inaccurate, nonsensical, or inappropriate ("hallucinations"). By using GoReadling, you expressly acknowledge this limitation and agree that it is your responsibility as a parent or guardian to review all AI-generated content before allowing your child to consume it. Big Data LLC cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, safety, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content.

3. Description of the Service

GoReadling is an AI-powered reading, storytelling, and creative application designed for children and families. The Service is designed to help children develop a love of reading through personalized, engaging, and interactive content. Features may include, but are not limited to:

We may modify, add, remove, or suspend any features, content, or aspects of the Service at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. We may also offer new services or features subject to these Terms or supplemental terms.

The Service is provided to you free of charge for basic features. Premium features are available through paid subscriptions (see Section 23). We do not display third-party advertisements within the App.

4. Parental Responsibility & Supervision

GoReadling is intended to be used by children under the active supervision of a parent or legal guardian. This is the foundational principle of our Service. You agree that:

5. Eligibility & Age Requirements

5.1 Minimum Age for Account Holders

You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account, sign in, or agree to these Terms. Children may use the App only under the supervision of, and with the consent of, a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms.

5.2 Children Under 13

GoReadling complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Children under 13 may not create accounts or provide personal information directly. Parents are the account holders. See our Privacy Policy for details on COPPA compliance.

5.3 Google Gemini API Age Restriction

Google's Gemini API terms state that the service is "not directed towards individuals under 18." Because GoReadling's AI features are powered by Google Gemini, you — as the adult parent or guardian — are the user of record for purposes of Google's terms. Your child interacts with the results of AI generation under your supervision; they do not directly interact with the Gemini API.

5.4 Users Who Cannot Use the Service

You may not use GoReadling if:

6. AI-Generated Content — Disclaimers & Risks

You expressly understand and agree that:

7. Third-Party AI Services — Google Gemini API

GoReadling relies on Google's Gemini API and related Google AI services to generate stories, illustrations, audio narration, image enhancements, and other AI-powered features. By using GoReadling, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding these third-party AI services:

7.1 Experimental Technology

Google's Gemini models constitute experimental technology. Per Google's own disclaimers: "The Services include experimental technology and may sometimes provide inaccurate or offensive content." Content generated by these models does not represent the views of Google or Big Data LLC. You should use discretion before relying on, publishing, sharing, or otherwise using any content provided by the Service.

7.2 No Professional Advice

As stated in Google's Gemini API terms: AI-generated content must not be relied upon for medical, mental health, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Any content regarding those topics is for informational and entertainment purposes only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

7.3 Content Ownership & Duplication

Per Google's terms regarding generated content: Google does not claim ownership over content generated through its API. However, Google may generate the same or similar content for others, and Google reserves all rights to do so. You acknowledge that AI-generated stories, images, and audio produced by GoReadling may be similar or identical to content generated for other users of Google's AI services worldwide. No AI-generated output grants you exclusive intellectual property rights.

7.4 Safety Features & Content Filtering

Google's Gemini API includes built-in safety features designed to block harmful content. GoReadling configures these safety settings for child-appropriate content. However:

7.5 How Google Processes Your Data

Paid API Services: When GoReadling uses paid Gemini API quota, Google does not use your prompts or responses to improve Google products. Prompts and responses are processed in accordance with Google's Data Processing Addendum. Google logs prompts and responses for a limited period solely for detecting violations of their Prohibited Use Policy.

Unpaid/Free API Tier: If any portion of the Service uses Google's free API tier, Google may use the content submitted and generated responses to provide, improve, and develop Google products and services and machine learning technologies. Google's human reviewers may read, annotate, and process API input and output. Google takes steps to disconnect this data from identifying information before review.

What this means for you: Creative prompts you submit (including story themes, character names, and child's age) may be processed by Google's systems. We do not send your email address, account credentials, or device identifiers to AI services. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7.6 Google's Prohibited Use Policy

GoReadling's use of Google Gemini API is subject to Google's Prohibited Use Policy. You agree not to use GoReadling in any way that would cause Big Data LLC to violate Google's policies, including but not limited to:

7.7 Service Availability & Changes

Google may modify, discontinue, or restrict access to the Gemini API at any time. Such changes may affect GoReadling's features, quality, or availability without advance notice. Big Data LLC is not liable for:

7.8 Additional Google Terms

Your use of GoReadling's AI features is also subject to:

In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Google's terms regarding your use of AI-generated content, the more restrictive provision shall apply.

8. User Accounts, Authentication & Cross-Device Access

8.1 Guest Mode (Anonymous)

The App can be used without creating an account. In guest mode, an anonymous device identifier is assigned to your device. Stories, progress, and preferences are associated with this device ID. Guest mode data is not accessible from other devices.

8.2 Parent Account Sign-In

Parents may optionally sign in with Google or Apple to access enhanced features including cross-device syncing. When you sign in:

8.3 Account Security

8.4 One Account Per Household

Each parent or guardian should maintain a single account for their household. You may create child profiles within the App to personalize the experience for multiple children under your supervision.

9. How We Use Your Data in the Service

To provide GoReadling's personalized experience, we use the following data. For complete data handling details, see our Privacy Policy.

9.1 Email Address

Your email address (collected via Google or Apple sign-in) is used to:

Your email is not sent to AI services, used for marketing, or shared with third parties beyond authentication and account management.

9.2 Child's Name

If you provide your child's name (via profile creation or story prompts), it is used to:

Sharing Warning: When you share a story that contains your child's name (via social media, web links, or story duplication), the child's name embedded in the story text and title becomes visible to anyone who receives or views the shared content. It is your responsibility to review shared content and ensure you are comfortable with the information disclosed.

9.3 Child's Age

If you provide your child's age (via profile creation), it is used to:

Your child's age is not displayed publicly or included in shared content visible to others.

9.4 Story Content & Prompts

When you create a custom story, the following data flow occurs:

  1. Your story prompt (theme, characters, child's name, age) is sent from your device to our backend servers
  2. Our servers forward the prompt to Google Gemini API for story text generation
  3. Google Gemini generates story text, which is returned to our servers
  4. Our servers may send additional prompts for illustration generation and audio narration
  5. The complete story (text, images, audio URLs) is stored in our Firestore database associated with your device ID or account
  6. Stories are synced to your device for reading (and potentially offline access)

By creating a story, you consent to this data flow and to the storage of the resulting content on our servers.

9.5 Activity & Session Data

We collect usage activity and session data to understand how the Service is used and to improve it. This may include:

This data is collected for operational purposes and may be stored on our servers. See our Privacy Policy for retention details.

9.6 Support Ticket Data

When you submit a support request through the App, you may provide:

This information is stored on our servers and used solely to respond to your inquiry.

10. User-Generated Content & Permissions You Grant Us

GoReadling allows you (and your child, under your supervision) to create content using our Service, including but not limited to:

10.1 Ownership

You retain ownership of the original creative inputs and prompts you provide. However, AI-generated content (stories, images, audio) is created through a combination of your inputs, our technology, and third-party AI services. The intellectual property status of AI-generated content is subject to evolving legal standards. Big Data LLC does not claim ownership of your User Content, but requires certain permissions to operate the Service.

10.2 License You Grant to Big Data LLC

By creating, uploading, sharing, or otherwise making available any User Content on or through GoReadling, you grant Big Data LLC a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to:

This license exists solely for the purposes of providing and improving GoReadling. This license will end when your User Content is deleted from our systems, except to the extent that:

10.3 Representations About Your Content

By providing User Content, you represent and warrant that:

10.4 No Compensation

You understand and agree that you will not receive any compensation, credit, or remuneration for User Content you create or share through the Service, including content that is duplicated, rated, or viewed by other users.

11. Sharing Content with Others

GoReadling provides various features that allow you to share stories, illustrations, art, and other content with other people, both within the App and on external platforms. When you share content, you are choosing to make it available beyond your private account. You understand and agree to the following general principles regarding all sharing features:

11.1 Sharing Is Voluntary

All sharing features are optional. You are never required to share any content. If you do not wish content to be available to others, do not use the sharing features.

11.2 Your Responsibility for Shared Content

You are solely responsible for:

11.3 No Guarantee of Privacy After Sharing

Once you share content through any sharing feature, Big Data LLC cannot guarantee the privacy, confidentiality, or security of that content. Shared content may be viewed, saved, copied, forwarded, or redistributed by recipients or the platforms through which it is shared. We have no control over how third parties handle content you share.

11.4 Shared Content and Your Child's Personal Information

Critical Privacy Notice: Stories created with your child's name will contain that name throughout the story text and potentially in the story title. When you share such stories — via Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, web links, or any other method — your child's name becomes visible to everyone who receives or can access the shared content. This is also true for story duplication (Section 14), where another user may save a copy of a story containing your child's name. Please carefully consider what personal information is embedded in content before sharing.

11.5 License Extension for Shared Content

When you share content through the Service's sharing features, the license you grant us in Section 10.2 extends to include the right to make that content available to the intended recipients and platforms you select. If you share content publicly (e.g., via a web link or social media post), you grant us the right to make that content available to anyone who can access the link or post.

12. Story Sharing via Social Platforms

GoReadling enables you to share stories through various social media platforms and communication services. The following sharing methods may be available:

12.1 Facebook Sharing

You may share stories to Facebook using Facebook's share dialog. When you share to Facebook:

12.2 Instagram Sharing

You may share story details to Instagram by copying text to your clipboard for pasting into Instagram. When you share to Instagram:

12.3 WhatsApp Sharing

You may share stories via WhatsApp using a deep link that opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. When you share via WhatsApp:

12.4 Web Share API & Native Sharing

On supported devices, you may share stories using the native share dialog (which may offer options including Messages, AirDrop, email, and other apps). When you use native sharing:

12.5 iOS Native Sharing

On iOS devices, sharing may use UIActivityViewController, which presents Apple's standard share sheet. Content shared through this method is subject to each receiving application's own terms and privacy policies.

12.6 Share URLs

When you share a story, a URL may be generated that can be used to access or view the story. These URLs may take forms such as:

These URLs may be accessible to anyone who possesses them. You are responsible for controlling who receives these URLs. Story accessibility through these URLs may change as we update the Service.

12.7 Social Share Tracking

When you share a story through the App's sharing features, we may record that a share occurred for analytics and reward purposes, including:

This tracking data is used internally and is not shared with the social platforms themselves.

13. Illustrations, Art & Creative Content Sharing

13.1 Art Sharing

GoReadling may allow you to share illustrations, drawings, colorings, and AI-enhanced art created within the App. Sharing may be done via the Web Share API (as PNG images), native sharing, or other methods. When you share art:

13.2 Art Album & Cloud Storage

Artwork you create may be stored in our cloud storage system (Google Cloud Storage). You should be aware that:

13.3 AI-Enhanced Art

Art that has been enhanced using AI features (e.g., turning a child's drawing into a more polished illustration) is treated as User Content under these Terms. The AI-enhanced version is a derivative work created through a combination of your original input and AI processing. Both the original and enhanced versions are subject to the license in Section 10.2.

14. Story Duplication & Content Accessibility

14.1 Duplicating Stories

GoReadling may allow users to duplicate (save a copy of) stories created by other users to their personal library. When story duplication occurs:

14.2 Your Consent to Duplication

By creating stories within GoReadling that are accessible to other users (e.g., stories available in the shared library, stories shared via links), you grant other GoReadling users the right to duplicate and save a copy of your story for their personal, non-commercial use within the App. You expressly consent to this duplication and waive any claims against Big Data LLC or other users arising from such duplication.

14.3 Stories You Duplicate

When you duplicate a story created by another user:

15. Ratings, Reviews & Community Interactions

15.1 Story Ratings

GoReadling may allow users to rate stories (e.g., 1 to 5 stars). Ratings are:

15.2 Use of Ratings Data

We may use ratings data to:

15.3 No Manipulation

You agree not to manipulate ratings through automated means, multiple accounts, or coordinated behavior. We reserve the right to remove or disregard ratings that we believe are fraudulent, duplicative, or otherwise manipulative.

16. Content Shared on the Web & Public URLs

16.1 Web Accessibility

GoReadling is accessible via web browsers in addition to native iOS and Android apps. Content that is shared via web links, URLs, or accessed through a web browser may be accessible to anyone with the URL, depending on our access controls at the time.

16.2 Indexing & Search Engines

We may implement measures to control whether shared content is indexed by search engines. However, we cannot guarantee that shared content will not be indexed, cached, or archived by third-party services including search engines, web archives, or social media platforms. Once content is shared publicly on the web, it may persist even after deletion from our systems.

16.3 Embedding & Linking

Third parties may link to GoReadling content using URLs that are publicly accessible. We reserve the right to restrict or modify access to content at any time. While we take care to protect user privacy, we cannot control all access to web-accessible content.

16.4 Removal of Web Content

If you request deletion of your content, we will remove it from our active systems. However, we cannot guarantee removal from third-party caches, search engine indexes, social media reposts, or other services that may have independently stored or referenced your content.

17. Community Standards & Acceptable Use for Shared Content

When sharing or publishing content through GoReadling — whether through social media, web links, story duplication, or any other mechanism — you agree to abide by the following Community Standards. These standards are designed to keep our community safe and appropriate for children and families.

17.1 Content You Share Must Not:

17.2 Our Right to Moderate

Big Data LLC reserves the right, but has no obligation, to:

17.3 Reporting Violations

If you encounter content within GoReadling that you believe violates these Community Standards, please report it to us at bgdatamlai@gmail.com. We will review reports and take appropriate action.

18. User Content License & Intellectual Property

18.1 Content License — Detailed Terms

The license you grant in Section 10.2 is further clarified as follows:

18.2 AI-Generated Content — Special Considerations

The intellectual property status of AI-generated content (including stories, illustrations, and audio generated by Google Gemini and related services) is a rapidly evolving area of law. You acknowledge that:

18.3 Public Domain Content

GoReadling includes stories adapted from public domain works (e.g., classic fairy tales, folk tales). These adaptations may include original illustrations, audio narration, and reformatting that are protected by our intellectual property rights. The underlying public domain text remains in the public domain.

18.4 Deletion of Your Content

You can delete individual stories and content from your library at any time. You can also request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us. When you delete content:

19. Our Intellectual Property & Limits on Use

19.1 What We Own

All content provided by GoReadling — including the software, application code, design, user interface, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, trade dress, pre-built stories, audio recordings, game mechanics, and branding — is owned by Big Data LLC or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws, including copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws.

19.2 Limited License to You

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to:

19.3 Reservation of Rights

All rights not expressly granted to you in these Terms are reserved by Big Data LLC. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the Service except for the limited license set forth above.

20. DMCA & Copyright Infringement

20.1 Respect for Intellectual Property

Big Data LLC respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws.

20.2 Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content available through GoReadling infringes your copyright, please send a written notification to our designated DMCA agent containing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material
  4. Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email address)
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

DMCA notices should be sent to: bgdatamlai@gmail.com with the subject line "DMCA Notice."

  4. Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court for the judicial district in which your address is located

20.4 Repeat Infringers

Big Data LLC reserves the right to terminate the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights. We will implement a repeat infringer policy in accordance with the DMCA.

21. Content Moderation, Removal & Enforcement

21.1 Our Right to Remove Content

Big Data LLC reserves the right, at our sole discretion, to:

21.2 Automated Moderation

We may use automated systems (including AI-based content analysis) to detect and flag potentially violating content. Automated moderation is imperfect and may result in both false positives (legitimate content blocked) and false negatives (violating content not detected). We are not liable for the accuracy of automated moderation.

21.3 No Obligation to Monitor

While we reserve the right to monitor content, we have no obligation to monitor all User Content or activity on the Service. We do not endorse, approve, or verify any User Content.

21.4 Appeals

If your content is removed and you believe the removal was in error, you may contact us at bgdatamlai@gmail.com to request a review. We will review your request and respond within a reasonable timeframe. Our decision on appeals is final.

22. Prohibited Activities

You may not, and you may not permit any third party (including your child, except where age-appropriate use under your supervision is clearly intended) to:

Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account, removal of your content, and potential legal action.

23. Subscription, Payment & Billing

23.1 Subscription Tiers

GoReadling offers free and premium subscription tiers. Premium features may include higher story creation limits, additional AI features, priority processing, and other benefits as described in the App. We may modify available tiers, features, and pricing at any time.

23.2 Billing Through App Stores

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. All billing, payment processing, and refund handling is managed by the applicable app store. By purchasing a subscription:

23.3 Cancellation & Refunds

23.4 Price Changes

We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes for existing subscribers will take effect at the beginning of the next billing period after notice is provided through the app store's notification mechanisms.

23.5 Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for premium subscriptions. At the end of a free trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription unless cancelled before the trial ends.

23.6 No Dissatisfaction Refunds

No refunds will be issued for dissatisfaction with AI-generated content, changes to AI model behavior or quality, or any aspect of the Service that does not meet your expectations. AI content generation is inherently variable and unpredictable.

24. Usage Limits & Rate Limiting

Exceeding limits may result in temporary suspension of creation features. Premium subscribers may have higher limits. We reserve the right to modify limits at any time without notice. Rate limits are also subject to Google Gemini API quotas which are outside our control. We may implement additional rate limiting, throttling, or queuing mechanisms at our discretion to ensure fair access and prevent abuse.

25. Activity Tracking & Analytics

GoReadling collects and processes usage data to operate, improve, and protect the Service. This includes:

This data is used for:

See our Privacy Policy for complete details on data collection, use, and retention.

27.2 Nature of Virtual Items

27.3 Share Rewards

You may earn rewards (e.g., stars, coins) for sharing content through the App's sharing features. Earning rewards for sharing does not guarantee that the share was completed on the target platform. Rewards are granted based on initiating the share action within the App. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue share rewards at any time.

28. Podcast & Audio Content

28.1 Podcast Distribution

GoReadling may distribute stories and audio content through podcast platforms (including Spotify and other podcast directories). By using the Service, you acknowledge that:

35. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

35.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Before filing any formal dispute, you agree to first contact us at bgdatamlai@gmail.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days. Most disputes can be resolved through informal communication.

35.3 Binding Individual Arbitration

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Service, or your use of the Service (including the formation, performance, and breach of these Terms, and claims arising under statute, in tort, or otherwise) shall be resolved exclusively through final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (available at www.adr.org). The arbitration shall be conducted:

The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding, and judgment upon the award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The arbitrator may award any relief that a court could award, subject to the limitations in these Terms.

35.4 Class Action Waiver

YOU AND BIG DATA LLC AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING DISPUTES AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, REPRESENTATIVE, COLLECTIVE, OR PRIVATE ATTORNEY GENERAL ACTION OR PROCEEDING. THE ARBITRATOR MAY NOT CONSOLIDATE MORE THAN ONE PERSON'S CLAIMS AND MAY NOT OTHERWISE PRESIDE OVER ANY FORM OF A REPRESENTATIVE OR CLASS PROCEEDING. YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT, CLASS-WIDE ARBITRATION, OR ANY OTHER REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING AGAINST BIG DATA LLC.

35.5 Mass Arbitration

If 25 or more similar demands for arbitration are filed against Big Data LLC, you agree that the parties and AAA shall cooperate to implement a bellwether process in which a reasonable number of individual claims are arbitrated first to resolve common issues before proceeding with additional claims.

35.6 Exceptions to Arbitration

Either party may (i) bring claims in small claims court if the claim qualifies, or (ii) seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for matters involving intellectual property rights, trade secrets, or urgent matters requiring immediate relief.

35.7 Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of binding arbitration and the class action waiver by sending written notice to bgdatamlai@gmail.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, email address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out. If you opt out, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the State of Delaware.
